Operational Update

01/06/21 - Trade counter now open

We are pleased to announce that our trade counter is now open once again by appointment only. In line with Covid-19 guidelines, we are allowing customers to buy & sell in person, or to add bullion items to their existing storage holdings. Please call the team on 0121 634 8060 to arrange an appointment.

Please note that while rapid antigen testing is available to all counter staff, we are asking customers to do their best to adhere to ongoing social distancing advice. Building management has been told to expect visitors, and hand sanitiser is available at the front security desk as well as at our trade counter.

12/05/21 - Dispatch operating as normal.

Dispatch lead times have returned to normal - orders placed and paid before 14:00 should be dispatched the same day. Orders will need to be fully validated, with funds received before they can be cleared for dispatch.

Our trade counter remains closed while we evaluate when we can safely reopen. As soon as we have a date for reopening we will communicate this here.

Stock availability on some products is currently limited due to high demand, however, we are working hard to secure more and will make it available on site as soon as possible. 05/11/2020 - Open for orders online and by phone as normal

Following the recent announcement by the government regarding a national lockdown, we would like to inform our customers that BullionByPost continues to remain open for orders online and by phone as normal. Our operations, including dispatch and customer support, continue to work very effectively.

If you have any queries you can speak to one of our customer service advisors on 0121 634 8060 between 9am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday. Additionally, you can also reach us via email at support@bullionbypost.co.uk and we will get back in touch with you as soon as possible.

During this time please also note the following;

Sell to us by phone - If you are looking to sell gold or silver, please get in touch directly with our customer service team on 0121 634 8060 to book in your sell order. You will then be advised on how to post your items to us.

If you have your products in storage with us, the procedure for selling from storage remains the same. Please get in touch with us by phone during regular office hours to organise a sale.

Counter service remains closed - Our regular counter service for buying and selling precious metals onsite remains closed. As soon as we are able to resume this service we will update customers accordingly.

Finally, I would like to thank all our customers for their continued patience and support. Everyone at BullionByPost has worked incredibly hard to provide reliably excellent service in the unusual circumstances we find ourselves.
