A collectable grade, hammered Silver Shilling of King Charles I, with the mint mark of "Crown" demonstrating it was struck in 1635 or 1636. The obverse features the crowned bust facing left, with XII behind indicating Shilling (twelve pence). The reverse shows the oval garnished shield of Royal arms. This coin of good light even tone with a strong portrait was struck during the time when King Charles the First had dissolved his parliament.
