The British £1 coin that we all know, struck in 22 carat Gold by The Royal Mint. This coin is provided in a box with a certificate.

The reverse of the coin is by Edwina Ellis. This is the third coin in the four-coin Bridges series issued by the Royal Mint, and depicts the Egyptian Arch Bridge - also known as MacNeill's Bridge.

The bridge opened in 1851 and is situated near Newry, Northern Ireland, close to the border with the Republic. To this day the bridge serves as a railway line for freight.
