This beautifully-presented 2005 Proof Gold quarter ounce Britannia coin is boxed with a certificate of authenticity. The face value £25 coin contains one quarter ounce (7.776g) of fine gold. The coin is all heavier than this weight however, as it is struck with 22-carat (91.67%) gold as was standard for the series at that time. The non-gold content in this coin is silver.
