Description

This stunning 2013 Proof gold Britannia 3-coin set is boxed with a certificate of authenticity. The Britannia set contains three gold coins; a Quarter Ounce, Tenth Ounce, and a Twentieth Ounce.

The 2013 design was by Robert Hunt, and was one of many Proof-only coins produced by The Royal Mint for collectors. In this design, Britannia is sat on a chair. Her trident is slighter and less combative than previous iterations, and combined with the Greek helmet, the Owl on her knee, and an evident bosom, Hunt's interpretation conveys a wiser, more feminine Britannia.

The coins are presented in a beautiful display case and the set is issued with a Certificate of Authenticity.
