This 2012 Proof gold Sovereign 4-coin set is the smaller variant, and features a Proof double sovereign (two-pound coin), full sovereign, half sovereign and quarter sovereign.
These proof coins have been struck using specially selected blanks and highly polished dies. During striking, the coinage dies exert enormous pressure on the coin blank, with at least two separate blows (or strikes), ensuring that the impression has extra clarity. Complete with its own Certificate of Authenticity.
