A brand new 2021 1oz silver Valiant coin from The Royal Mint. This series celebrates the legend of Saint George and the Dragon - a story of honour, courage and victory. The 1oz Valiant coins are a popular alternative to the classic Britannia.

Struck in 999.9 silver, the George and Dragon design on the one ounce Valiant is designed by Etienne Milner along with the current portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark. The coin's design includes a high level of detail with a beautiful 'guilloche' design radiating out behind the Queen's head and an unusual 'incuse' design of George and the Dragon stamped into the coin rather than projecting outwards.

The Valiant is UK legal tender with a face value of £2, and is therefore Capital Gains Tax (CGT) Exempt.
