Like other 1/10oz coins, these 2022 Britannia has a face value of £10.00 and due to there status as British Legal tender they are exempt from capital gains tax (CGT). This coin contains one-tenth troy ounce (3.1 grams) of fine gold and is 999.9 (24 carat) gold.
Flip over to the obverse side and the tenth ounce gold Britannia bears the fifth portrait of Queen Elizabeth II - a design created by engraver Jody Clark. All Royal Mint bullion coins from 2015 onwards bear this portrait, which sees the Queen wearing the King George IV State Diadem - usually reserved for the annual State Opening of Parliament.
