Royal Arms Gold Coins

Struck to the same specification as the gold Britannias, the Royal Arms gold coin has a face value of £100 and is both CGT-exempt and VAT-free making them an excellent choice for investment.

Released in 2019 and each year on, the series has become another feather in the cap of The Royal Mint. It offers investors who enjoy this classic British symbol the chance to see it on a gold coin that also has good investment properties.
The Royal Arms design for this coin was produced by artist Timothy Noad, who has produced several coin designs for The Royal Mint during his distinguished career. This design was first used in 2015 for a £1 coin issued by the Mint, but other designs of his include the 2002 Jubilee Sovereign and the 2005 St George Sovereign.
