William IV 1831 - 1837

William IV was King for seven years between 1830 and 1837, and was succeeded by one of the most famous British monarchs, Queen Victoria. William IV gold Sovereigns often bore the initials W.W. for engraver William Wyon. Due to the short reign and relatively low mintage numbers William IV Sovereigns are very collectable and typically sell above their metal value when in good condition.
