King Henry VIII History
He is notorious for his numerous divorces and the beheading of two of his ex-wives, as well as clashing with the Pope over said divorce. The argument caused Henry to renounce Roman Catholicism and found the Church of England.
Henry's wives were Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anne of Cleves, Catherine Howard, and Catherine Parr. In order they were divorced, beheaded, died (after childbirth), divorced, beheaded, and Parr survived Henry.
