The Lion and The Eagle Gold Coins

The Lion and The Eagle gold coin range is new release from The Royal Mint. Featuring the two national icons of the UK and the US, the reverse has been designed by Jon Mercanti, the Chief Engraver at the US Mint from 2006 to 2010. The design shows the Lion and Eagle side-by-side, in tribute to the close relationship between the two countries. The obverse of each coin will feature His Majesty King Charles III making them CGT-free, in addition to being VAT-free as investment gold.
