Heraeus
German refiners Heraeus are one of the longest-running precious metal refiners in Europe. A family-run business, Heraeus evolved from a local apothecary to a fully fledged producer in 1851, and today specialises in Gold and Platinum production.

Argor-Heraeus
As part of Heraeus Precious Metals, the company also owns Swiss refiners Argor, with full ownership completed in 2017. Now trading as Argor-Heraeus the company specialises in many parts of the precious metal chain, including refinement, recycling, and the minting of precious metal bars.
