Louis XVIII Uniformed Bust
Below is our selection of gold Louis XVIII Francs featuring the 'Uniformed Bust' design, titled thusly due to the King wearing military uniform. These coins were produced early in the King's reign, around the time of the Battle of Waterloo. Due to the political upheaval in France at this time, some of these coins were actually produced by The Royal Mint in London, with these coins featuring an 'R' mint mark.
