Australian Wombat Coins
The silver Wombat was added to the Perth Mint's Australian wildlife range in 2021. The wombat is a burrowing marsupial found across southern Australia and is one of the more unusual subjects the Mint has chosen for a bullion coin.
As with the rest of the series the reverse is redrawn each year and the mintage is capped, so the coin is bought for the design as much as for the silver it holds.
