Perth Mint
The Perth Mint, owned by Gold Corp, is Australia's best-known bullion producer. The mint was formerly a branch of the Royal Mint, and opened in the late 1800s.
Located in Western Australia, the Perth Mint is responsible for producing Australia's bullion coinage, which comes in the form of Nuggets (Kangaroos), as well as Koala and Kookaburra coins. More recently the mint has started to produce the unusual rectangular Dragon coin. Learn more about The Perth Mint.
