The company continues to produce gold bars that are branded separately as Heraeus and Argor-Heraeus, but all of their gold bar manufacturing is done by the Argor-Heraeus subsidiary.

What Types of Argor-Heraeus Gold Bars are Available?

All new Heraeus gold bars are imprinted with a serial number and supplied with a matching certificate. It is important to note that a serial number cannot be used to verify a real gold bar. Only buy gold bars from reputable bullion suppliers that guarantee that you are receiving a genuine sold gold bar.

The resale price of a Heraeus gold bar is not affected by removing the product from its packaging. If you decide to sell a Heraeus gold bar, the buyer will need to remove the bar from the packaging to use an XRF analysis device to test the purity of the bar. The value of a pre-owned Argor-Heraeus gold bar is determined by size of the bar and the purity of the gold.
