Description

The 2024 Tudor Dragon - Tudor Beasts 1oz gold coin graded to MS69 (FDC) by the PCGS. A fully struck coin with nearly imperceptible imperfections. This MS69 2024 Tudor Dragon 1oz gold coin is a great option for collectors looking for a prime example of one of these coins.

The 2024 Tudor Dragon 1oz gold coin is the fifth bullion release in the Royal Tudor Beasts Collection from The Royal Mint. The collection features the 10 'Beasts' statues that line the Moat Bridge at Hampton Court and which represent the families of the King's line.

Designed by David Lawrence, the reverse side of the coin features the Tudor Dragon adopted by Henry Tudor (later King Henry VII) when raising an army against Richard II in preparation for the Battle of Bosworth field. This design is not only for visual appeal but also has enhanced security features as a protection against counterfeiting. The obverse side of the coin presents the official coinage portrait of His Majesty King Charles III by Martin Jennings.
