Description

This unique Tri-Gold coin was struck in honour of the Queen's Golden Jubilee for the Isle of Man by Pobjoy Mint. The coin features the bust of a young Queen Elizabeth II surrounded by a ring of mythical creatures known as the 'Queen's Beasts' representing the heraldic symbols used by the families in the queen's ancestry. Around these beasts are a ring of knights and swords and the inscription "Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee.".

This is another example of the technology and creativity of the Pobjoy mint as it was the first coin ever minted in a mixture of yellow, white, and rose gold. It contains 1.125 oz of 0.75 fine gold (giving a pure gold content of 26.25 grams). You will receive the proof coin in a capsule and presentation box complete with the original certificate.
