2027 Britannia Range

Britannia has an anniversary to mark. Two, in fact.

2027 celebrates 40 years of the Gold Britannia and 30 years of the Silver Britannia, and The Royal Mint has marked the occasion accordingly.

For this year only, the gold and silver Britannias feature special ‘40’ and ‘30’ wave privy marks, accompanied by an anniversary background texture woven into Philip Nathan’s iconic Britannia design.

As ever, The Britannia also contains the usual four intricate security features, designed to make the coins easier to authenticate and harder to counterfeit. And, as UK legal tender, Britannia coins remain exempt from Capital Gains Tax for UK investors.
