A 2025 1/2oz American Eagle gold coin from the US Mint.
The obverse design of the Eagle gold coin will feature Lady Liberty with flowing hair holding a torch and olive branch. It was originally produced by Augustus Saint-Gaudens for the US Mint's limited edition Double Eagle coins in the early 1900, the reverse design will feature a close up of a bald eagle's head.
Like all American Eagle gold coins the 2025 half ounce gold Eagle coin will be struck in 22 carat gold (.9167) and contain 15.55 grams of pure gold, it will be official legal tender in the United States of America, with a value of $25.
