Description

1817 20 French Francs gold coin. It features the Louis XVIII bare head design and the reverse has a wreath and the Royal coat of arms. The year and mintmark are below the wreath, whilst the value is to the left of the coat of arms. The text on the obverse reads "LOUIS XVIII, ROI DE FRANCE". The 'Q' mintmark indicates that the coin was minted in Perpignan.
