The 2024 Britannia tenth ounce gold coin is made of 24-carat gold (999.9 fineness), and features His Majesty King Charles III. It contains a tenth of a troy ounce (3.1 grams) of fine gold and has a face value of £10 meaning that it is exempt from UK Capital Gains Tax.
The obverse of the coin features the portrait of King Charles III by Martin Jennings. The reverse design is the secure Lady Britannia design first issued in 2021 which includes the Royal Mint's advanced security measures, such as:.

- Inner rim with additional Latin text
- Padlock/trident changing hologram
