Description

A beautiful 2024 0.5g Australian Kangaroo gold coin, better known as the 'Mini Roo'. This coin is a mere 0.5 grams in weight (0.016 of a troy ounce), but it is 24-carat pure gold minted to a proof standard.

Like the full 1oz Kangaroo, the 2024 Mini Roo gold coin is Australian legal tender and has a face value of $2 AUD. It features the same design as the larger kangaroo coins which changes every year, with this year's coin featuring a large kangaroo about to jump over a dry creek with the classic outback icon of a windmill and water tank in the background. The coin also features a special laser-engraved 'P125' mintmark signifying the Perth Mint's 125th anniversary, and King Charles III on the obverse for the first time.

Each coin comes presented in its own acrylic capsule housed in a stylish presentation card.
