Description

This Pobjoy set features an Isle of Man 1981 Proof Quintuple Sovereign £5 gold coin, with the 3 leg Triskelion design, presented in a red velvet box.

These proofs have been struck using specially selected blanks and highly polished dies. During striking, the coinage dies exert enormous pressure on the coin blank, with at least two separate blows (or strikes), ensuring that the impression has extra clarity.
