Description

The 2026 Bond of the 2010s 1oz gold coin is the sixth and final release in The Royal Mint’s Six Decades of 007 series, celebrating cinema’s most recognisable spy.

Originally created by Ian Fleming in 1953, James Bond became a global icon following his big screen debut in 1962. More than sixty years on, 007 remains as enduring as ever, with each generation bringing its own interpretation of the character.

This final release focuses on the 2010s era of Bond, featuring Daniel Craig’s portrayal across the decade. The reverse design includes the snow plane from Spectre, framed within the famous gun barrel motif synonymous with the opening of every Bond film.

Each coin contains one troy ounce of 999.9 fine gold and is struck to The Royal Mint’s bullion standard. As UK legal tender with a face value of £100, the coin is also exempt from Capital Gains Tax for UK residents.
