Description

The 2026 UK Silver Proof Piedfort Commemorative Coin Set from The Royal Mint brings together all five of the year’s commemorative designs, struck in 925 sterling silver to Proof standard. Piedfort coins are double the thickness of standard Proof issues, giving each piece a distinctive weight and finish.

The set includes a £5 coin marking the 100th anniversary of the birth of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Timothy Noad and featuring a special edge inscription and exclusive privy mark. Two £2 coins celebrate 200 years of ZSL and the first commission of HMS Beagle, with designs by Jonathan Olliffe and William Webb. The two 50p coins commemorate 100 years of the British Grand Prix and 50 years of The King’s Trust, designed by Interstate Creative Partners and Jessica Gregorio.

Each coin features the official portrait of His Majesty King Charles III by Martin Jennings on the obverse. Limited to only 250 sets, this substantial Piedfort collection offers a striking way to commemorate the major British milestones of 2026.
