The 2017 Ramesses II 2 Ounce Silver Coin is the newest release from the Scottsdale Mint for their Egyptian Relic Series, produced on behalf of the Republic of Chad.
The 2oz silver After Life coin was released late 2017 as part of a pair of coins, depicting arguably the greatest pharaoh of all Ancient Egypt. This silver coin shows Ramesses the Great after his death with a skull mask. A worn granite effect was applied by Scottsdale to the coin's surface to suggest the passage of time.
The coin's counterpart is the living Ramesses II, roughly depicted in his late 30s, early 40s in age.
Ramesses II 2oz silver coins are fine quality bullion, made of pure .999 silver weighing two troy ounces (62.2 grams).
