A 2025 American Eagle 1oz gold coin from the US Mint.
The obverse design of the Eagle gold coin will feature Lady Liberty with flowing hair holding a torch and olive branch. It was originally produced by Augustus Saint-Gaudens for the US Mint's limited edition Double Eagle coins in the early 1900s. The 'Type II' design of a bald eagle's head, along with the coin's weight, value and the text 'in god we trust' in Latin and English will appear on the reverse.
The 2025 one ounce gold Eagle coin will be struck in 22 carat gold (.9167) and contain 31.10 grams of pure gold, it will be official legal tender in the United States of America, with a value of $50.
