A 2014 one ounce gold Britannia coin, with a special horse Privy Mark along the rim of the coin, to mark the Year of the Horse. Produced in 24 carat, as was standard for the series at this point.
The 2014 1oz gold Britannia with horse privy mark is limited to a production of 10,000 coins by The Royal Mint. It was originally intended for the U.S. market only.
This was the first time that The Royal Mint produced a gold coin with a privy (ie, hidden) symbol along the rim, ensuring the coin is viewed as a numismatic object.
