This 2024 Britannia and Liberty 1oz gold coin features the two iconic female images of bullion coins - Lady Liberty from the American Eagle coins and Lady Britannia.
Produced through a partnership between The United States Mint and The Royal Mint, with both chief engravers working to create the design, this coin symbolises the enduring special relationship between the United Kingdom and the United States. This design, featuring Britannia and Liberty and reflects the shared values of fortitude and freedom while showcasing the skill of both engravers.
This version comes courtesy of The Royal Mint, and features King Charles III on the obverse. The coins are issued jointly between The Royal Mint and The US Mint, with this Royal Mint version having a limited mintage of 11,000 coins.

Despite all the politics, I decided to celebrate the relationship between the UK and the US with both this and the Lion and the Eagle coin. With a son in the military, I think this will be a nice combination to pass on as a legacy. The military don't seem to bother with all the political wrangling.
