2012 1/10oz gold Krugerrand coin from South Africa. The tenth ounce Krugerrand is the smallest Krugerrand we regularly stock. The 2012 one-tenth ounce gold Krugerrand, is 91.67 percent pure gold (22-carat) and has 3.11 grams of gold. It is 1.35 millimetres thick and 16.55 millimetre in diameter. The edge of the Krugerrand is etched with exactly one hundred-fifteen lines. The Krugerrand is minted in Germiston, South Africa at the Rand Refinery.
On the front of the Krugerrand (the obverse side) is a profile of Paul Kruger and on the back (or the reverse side) of the coin is a springbok. These images were designed by Coert Steynbert, an African sculptor.
