Description

The 10 French Francs gold coin. This version has the image of Ceres - the Goddess of agriculture and the reverse has the value and year surrounded by a wreath made of Oak and Olive branches.

Minted during the following years - 1850, 1851, 1878 (proof, mintage of 30), 1889 (proof, mintage of 100), 1895, 1896, and 1899. The text reads LIBERTE EGALITE FRATERNITE and EMPIRE FRANCAISE.
