A scarce coin. This is a Queen Victoria gold Sovereign coin from 1874 with the Young Head design by William Wyon. The reverse features the traditional George and Dragon design.
This 1874 gold Sovereign is provided in a plastic capsule. The M mintmark denotes the coin was struck at the Melbourne Mint in Australia.
