The 2025 Spanish Brown Bear 1oz gold coin from the Royal Mint of Spain.

This series issued by the Spanish Royal Mint is becoming a very popular series featuring the iconic animals of Spain. The reverse features the Spanish Brown Bear, along with the year, face value, Madrid mintmark, and the legend 'OSO PARDO'. The obverse features two globes, representing the western and eastern hemispheres of the world, both of which are under a crown and flanked on either side by the Pillars of Hercules. It also shows the weight and purity of the coin, along with the legend Felipe VI Rey de España.

The Spanish Brown Bear is also known as the Cantabrian brown bear or Iberian brown bear. These majestic creatures live in the Cantabrian Mountains, and are very timid, avoiding human contact whenever possible.

This 2025 Spanish Brown Bear 1oz gold coin is 24-carat and contains one troy ounce (31.1g) of gold. The face value on this coin is 1.5 Euros.
