Pre-owned 1g platinum bars are the most affordable way to buy second-hand platinum bullion, offering the same metal content as a new bar at a lower price.

These pre-owned 1g platinum bars are sourced from major refiners including Umicore, PAMP, Heraeus, Valcambi, Johnson Matthey, Credit Suisse, Engelhard and UBS. Because this is a pre-owned product we cannot guarantee which refiner you will receive, as it depends on our current stock.

Every 1g platinum bar is guaranteed to hold 1 gram of 999.5 fine platinum, and carries a stamp showing its weight, purity and the manufacturer's logo. The precious metal content is exactly the same as a new bar; only the packaging and presentation differ. Each bar is checked and tested by our experienced in-house team before we offer it for sale. Being a second-hand product, they are supplied without their original packaging or certificates.

Please note: these 1g platinum bars have been purchased back from our own customers, and may show signs of previous ownership such as surface marks or blemishes. Appearance and condition vary from one bar to the next. Neither these cosmetic imperfections nor the absence of an original certificate affects the intrinsic value of the precious metal. We still offer the same buyback rate as we would for an equivalent new bar, based on the precious metal content.
