A collectable grade silver Shilling of King Charles I. Struck at the Tower mint with the "Harp" mint mark for 1632-3. Group D with armoured bust facing left, and XII behind. Garnished oval shield with "CR" at sides to the reverse. A nice even grey tone, and good grade all round.

Obverse
Tower mint, Group D, fourth larger bust type 3.1, with falling lace collar facing left. "XII" behind within circle, mint mark "harp". CAROLUS D G MAG BRI FR ET HIB REX.

Reverse
Oval garnished shield of arms with CR at sides, within inner circle CHRISTO AUSPICE REGNO.
