A collectable hammered silver penny of King Edward the Third struck A collectable Hammered Silver Halfpenny of King Edward the Third from the "Florin" issue Period of 1344-1351. The obverse features the crowned facing bust within a circle. The reverse shows the long cross with three pellets in each quarter and the wording for the city of London. This Silver Hammered Halfpenny was struck in London at the height of the "Black Death" when one third of the population was wiped out.
