Description

A collectable, gold Half Crown of King James I. This coin has the fifth bust, facing right with the mintmark "Tun" for the year 1615-6. A crowned Royal shield, and initials IR to the reverse. A little weak in areas, and signs of creasing, but a good little gold coin for its age.

Obverse
Second coinage, fifth bust, of James I facing left, within circle. 'Tun' mintmark. I D G ROSE SINE SPINA.

Reverse
Crowned square shield of royal arms, with IR either side of crown, inner circle. TUEATUR UNITA DEUS.
