A very short reign by this British Monarch of just four years means that the coinage is also in short supply.
The silver crown pieces were struck for just three years depicting this rather useless King, brother of Charles II in sombre mood with pronounced lantern jaw.

He made so many enemies and blunders that he took flight and on Christmas day 1688 landed in France never to return again.
