A collectable grade, rare hammered Silver Sixpence of King Philip and Queen Mary (Tudor), dated 1554. The obverse features facing busts of Philip and Mary under a crown, with date split at the side. The reverse shows the Crowned oval Royal shield of arms with VI at sides representing the Sixpence value. This coin was struck in the year 1554 when Queen Mary, who was ruling on her own, married Philip of Spain to rule jointly.
