Description

A 2021 1oz platinum Britannia coin, issued by The Royal Mint in pure 999.5 platinum. The coin is legal tender in the UK which means that it is exempt from Capital Gains Tax.

This reverse of this platinum coin features the same Britannia design by Philip Nathan as the older gold and silver versions, with a guilloche effect background.

On the obverse is the fifth and most recent portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, introduced in 2015. It was designed by the Royal Mint's own engraver, Jody Clark, and you can see his initials just below the Queen's neck.
