The Gold Kennedy Half Dollar. After Kennedy's assassination in November 1963, it was decided that a half Dollar coin would be issued to commemorate him. These were first issued in 1964. This coin was issued by the US Mint in 2014 to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the first issuance of these coins.
The coin contains 3/4oz of 24 carat gold and is provided with its original box and certificate.
