Description

This 1973 Isle of Man Proof gold Sovereign 4-coin set includes a Quintuple Sovereign (five-pound coin), Double Sovereign (two-pound coin), Sovereign and Half Sovereign still sealed airtight in plastic, presented in a red box.

Struck by the Pobjoy Mint and limited to 1250 sets. These proofs have been struck using specially selected blanks and highly polished dies. During striking, the coinage dies exert enormous pressure on the coin blank, with at least two separate blows (or strikes), ensuring that the impression has extra clarity. Complete with its own Certificate of Authenticity.
