This beautiful coin is a 2020 Australian proof gold piedfort Sovereign made by Perth Mint.

This gold coin is produced in supreme proof quality using the traditional 22-carat standard for these types of coins. As Australian legal tender, the coin has a face value of $50, double the value of a standard Australian Sovereign. This is because it is a piedfort coin - which are twice the thickness of standard coins.

The coin is presented inside a unique wooden case and issued with a numbered Certificate of Authentication.
