Description

A beautiful 2025 gold Proof St. George & Dragon Sovereign, presented in a box with numbered Certificate of Authenticity.

This 2025 Proof Sovereign features the classic George & Dragon design on the reverse of the coin, in an unusual second design to be released in 2025. The obverse of the coin features the official effigy of His Majesty King Charles III by Martin Jennings. The mint have also confirmed the 2025 Sovereign range will be the final year to use rose gold, and will return to a yellow gold alloy from next year.

Per tradition, the 2025 Proof George and Dragon Sovereign is struck with 22-carat (916.7 fine) gold, and weighs 7.98 grams. Limited Presentation of 2,025, and struck to the highest proof standard available from The Royal Mint.
