Description

This magnificent gold coin is part of the official Olympic and Paralympic Games coin programme for London 2012, with a special reverse design created by the eminent sculptor John Bergdahl. The coin is one of nine making up the complete Gold Series Collection inspired by the official motto of the Olympic Games: Citius, Altius, Fortius meaning Faster, Higher, Stronger. As part of the Stronger collection, it features image of the legendary god Mars representing the sport of Boxing.

This 2012 Mars 1oz gold proof coin is graded to PF69: A fully struck coin with nearly imperceptible imperfections.

The picture is taken of a coin of the stated grade. You may not receive the exact coin pictured, but it will be a coin of the same grade and will be graded and slabbed by the same numismatic grading service.
