A 1989 $250 gold proof coin struck by the Royal Mint for the Pitcairn Islands - celebrating 200 years since the mutiny on HMS Bounty which resulted in the mutineers eventually settling on the Pitcairn Islands. The coin is the same dimensions and weight as the British £2 double Sovereign. The coin is presented boxed with a certificate.
