King Charles III will celebrate his 75th birthday on the 14th of November 2023 and to mark this event in the life of the new king The Royal Mint's Dan Thorne designed this £5 gold coin with a work personally approved by His Majesty. The edge of the coin in inscribed with the text 'RESTORING HARMONY WITH NATURE'. The coin is minted in a combination of 22-carat yellow gold in the centre and 22-carat rose gold around the outside.

This £2 gold coin celebrates the life of J.R.R. Tolkien, a giant of English literature and the father of fantasy fiction writing who died 50 years ago this year.
