A brand new, ten ounce bar of fine silver manufactured by The Royal Mint featuring the classic design of Una and the Lion.
Derived from Edmund Spenser's epic poem "The Faerie Queene," the design depicts Una, the virtuous princess who, on her quest to liberate her parents from a dragon's captivity, encounters a lion whose ferocity is tamed by her innocence. This design is based on the classic £5 coin from 1839 by William Wyon and bears the Latin inscription 'DIRIGE DEUS GRESSUS MEOS’, which translates to ‘May God direct my steps’.
The reverse of the bar bears The Royal Mint logo along with the weight of 10oz (311.03 grams), and purity of 999.9. These Una & the Lion 10oz silver bars are sure the be a welcome addition to any collection.
